Fort Lauderdale experiencing a 39% increase in single family residences and 27% in condominium sales.

In terms of overall trends Realtors across the US report signs of a slight turnaround in the housing market. However, patience and correct list price are key for South Florida home sellers since the typical residence stays on the market for approximately seven months according to Real IQ and Altos Research. This is the longest list time in the nation and also reflects high inventory levels locally.
